Selfcare & SEL (Ages 10-14)
A fun, interactive three-hour workshop where kids learn to take care of themselves — inside and out.
Through games, reflection, and creative activities, they’ll discover how to:
* Understand and manage emotions
* Build a positive mind-set and self-confidence
* Strengthen friendships and empathy
* Practice healthy self-care habits for body and mind
Why It Matters
When kids learn social-emotional skills, they:
* Handle stress and pressure better
* Communicate more clearly
* Build stronger relationships
* Feel confident and capable
Bully & Bullying (Age 8 - 15)
This course teaches children how to understand, prevent and respond to bullying in a healthy, confident and respectful way. It helps all children — those who are bullied, those who bully, and those who witness bullying — to build empathy, self-awareness and safer social skills.
Children will learn:
* What bullying is + Characteristics
* Types of bullying
* Why bullying happens
* Bullying and diversity
* Different roles in bullying such as bystander, etc.
*How to respond to bullying
*Skills for standing up for themselves and others safely –supporting bullying victims
* Coping skills & strategies
* How to handle conflict without aggression-managing emotions & building resilience
* How to build healthy friendships & practice kindness
* How to ask for help and who to go to
* How to become “up-standers” instead of silent by-standers
The course focuses on education, emotional skills, prevention and healthy behaviour change, not blaming or shaming. It is practical, age-appropriate, and includes stories, discussions, role-plays, activities, and confidence-building exercises.
Emotional regulation (Ages 10-14)
This interactive workshop helps children learn to:
* Understand their emotions and express them in healthy ways
* Build confidence and self-esteem
* Cope with stress, frustration, and peer pressure
* Develop calm-down skills like breathing, mindfulness, and squeeze-and-release exercises
Why It Matters
Learning to manage emotions helps kids:
* Build stronger friendships
* Feel more in control
* Improve focus and self-confidence
*Make better decisions
Every participant receives a stress ball with simple coping strategies (practiced in class) to use at home and school including their workbook.
Gr 10 -12 Workshop
High school years can be challenging — academic pressure, social stress, and emotional ups and downs. This interactive one-day workshop helps teens build resilience, emotional awareness, and self-regulation skills to navigate life with confidence.
What they will learn:
* Understanding and managing stress
* Replacing negative thoughts with positive coping
* Mindfulness and breathing techniques
* Coping with anxiety and trauma & depression
* Emotional control & problem-solving
* Building self-esteem and confidence
* Healthy communication & boundaries
* Motivation, focus & balance * Developing self-care habits
Why It Matters
Teens who learn healthy coping skills are better equipped to handle stress, make positive decisions, and build emotional stability for the future. They will all receive a workbook and stress ball.
